In response to the pandemic, I started an initiative to raise funds for secondhand refurbished laptops for children from low-income households who needed them for home-based learning. This initiative also led to the development of digital literacy workshops which later inspired students from the CNM Society to develop their programme CNM Cares in 2021. I discussed the digital gaps I see in Singapore in this webinar, and what we can all do about it.

At the height of the pandemic, a particular news story evoked strong responses especially from the arts and media community. The story was based on a survey including questions about how members of the public saw different jobs. In this webinar, I built on my previous life as a pollster and provided inputs on the design of the survey – covering instrument design, sampling, analysis, and quantitative data storytelling.
